"Creative works play a major instrument in our society. They are the medium by which our society grows and learns. Books and stories are how I learned about the world, about other people. Stories teach me about worlds that do not even exist. In pieces like "The Room", you can see how I communicate longing for companionship. In pieces like "The Way It Is", you can see how I describe too much companionship. Humans are a delicate balance that art helps stabilize.
